Data Controller
This policy is published by Metin Can Siper, who operates Visucodize (“we”, “us”). For privacy requests, you can use the Contact page or email metincansiper@gmail.com.
Summary
- We process limited technical data to deliver the site, keep it secure, prevent abuse, and diagnose errors.
- Solutions/content you create are stored locally in your browser by default and are sent to us only if you explicitly use a server-backed feature (e.g., publish/share).
- We use Cloudflare for CDN/security and AWS (including AWS Cognito) for backend and authentication (currently access may be controlled and not open to public registration).
Personal Data We Process
1) Technical and usage data (processed automatically)
When you access the site, we and our infrastructure providers may process technical data needed to deliver content and maintain security. This may include: IP address, device and browser details, request headers, timestamps, requested URL/page, referrer information, response status, performance/error logs, security event data, and similar online identifiers.
2) Account and authentication data (if applicable)
Authentication/session data may be processed via AWS Cognito, such as user ID/sub, session tokens, and role/group claims (where applicable). At the current stage, sign-in access may be controlled(e.g., only authorized users), and registration/sign-in may not be open to everyone. Also, depending on the technical operation of the authentication setup, limited technical keys/identifiers may be created or stored on your browser and may also be automatically included in API requests, even if you do not sign in; these may not constitute an active session token.
3) Local content
Local solutions/content you create are stored in your browser (e.g., localStorage/IndexedDB) and are not transferred to us by default. You can delete this data through Visucodize where those controls are available, or clear it from your browser settings. Browser-stored local data is not guaranteed to remain available indefinitely even if you did not intentionally delete it. It may also be removed or become unavailable because of private browsing mode, browser settings or policies, storage pressure, or other technical/runtime issues.
4) Credit / validation tokens (if applicable to your usage)
For technical validation in the credit system, a credit token, credit amount, and update time may be stored in your browser and may be included in requests to validate credit-related actions.
Cookies, localStorage, and Similar Technologies
We may use cookies, localStorage, and local browser databases (such as IndexedDB) to keep essential functionality working, store your local content on your device, and protect the service. You can clear browser-stored data from your browser settings at any time.
Essential technologies are used for core functionality and security. If we introduce non-essential technologies (e.g., analytics/ads that are not strictly necessary), we will provide a consent choice where required by applicable law.
For a more detailed inventory of the current browser-side technologies we disclose, see the Cookie Notice.
Infrastructure and Service Providers
We use Cloudflare for frontend hosting (Cloudflare Pages), content delivery, and security (CDN/WAF/bot mitigation), and Amazon Web Services (AWS) for backend operations. Authentication is handled via AWS Cognito.
These providers may process technical data described above to deliver traffic, provide security protections, and support performance and reliability features. Some security protections may use security cookies/tokens and challenge mechanisms (for example, Cloudflare Turnstile). When Cloudflare Workers, Pages Functions, or middleware handles a page, API, or CDN/proxy request, Cloudflare may also generate invocation/request logs containing details such as the request, response, and related metadata for debugging, abuse prevention, and operational monitoring.
Purposes of Processing
We may process personal data for:
- Service delivery and continuity (serving pages, enabling features, maintaining availability)
- Information security and abuse prevention (fraud/spam/bot mitigation, rate limiting, incident response)
- Error detection, debugging, and performance improvements
- Operational monitoring and reliability
- Compliance with legal obligations where applicable
Legal Bases (Where Applicable)
Where applicable, we process technical, usage, and authentication-related data to deliver the website and on the basis of our legitimate interests in security, abuse prevention, and service reliability. We rely on consent only if we introduce non-essential technologies in the future where consent is required.
Data Sharing and Recipients
We may share personal data with:
- Infrastructure providers (Cloudflare, AWS, AWS Cognito) to host and secure the service
- Professional advisors (e.g., legal) where necessary and subject to confidentiality
- Authorities if required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security
International Data Transfers
Because our providers may operate globally, personal data may be processed in countries different from your own. International transfer practices may vary by provider and jurisdiction. Where required by applicable law, international transfers are subject to the transfer mechanism applicable to the relevant provider and jurisdiction. For provider-specific details, please review the applicable provider privacy and data-processing terms.
Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described above, then delete, destroy, or anonymize it as required.
- Security and technical logs: typically retained for a limited period to investigate abuse, ensure security, and diagnose issues, unless a longer period is required for legal obligations or ongoing investigations.
- Account data (if you sign in): generally retained while your account is active and for a limited period afterward as needed for security, dispute handling, and legal compliance.
- Local content: stored on your device until you delete it through Visucodize where available or via browser controls. Note that such data may also be deleted or become unavailable for the other reasons described in the Local content section above.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights such as access, correction, deletion, objection/restriction, portability, and withdrawal of consent where applicable. You may submit requests via the Contact page or by emailing metincansiper@gmail.com. We may request limited additional information to verify identity before processing requests.
Where applicable, you may also have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests.
If you are in the EEA/UK, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Security and Abuse Prevention
We use technical controls such as security cookies/tokens and challenge mechanisms (for example, Cloudflare Turnstile) to help protect the service against spam, automated abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access.
